Membership Registration Policy
From the start of the 2017/18 season, membership will no longer be a simple matter of re-registration. You will be invited to submit an application to join Hillsborough Boys JFC. Your application will be considered and the Membership Committee will decide who to accept in to the Club and who to refuse entry to.
If successful, you will be asked to forward your membership fee. If unsuccessful, we will inform you as quickly as possible to give you time to find another Club for next season.
The Membership Committee will take into consideration each player’s aptitude and attitude as well as behaviour on and off the pitch.
It will also take parents’ behaviour into consideration when deciding whether to admit a player and, unfortunately for some players, this may mean they do not get to rejoin their beloved Club. Parents can ensure this is not an issue by conducting themselves properly on the touchline, showing our Coaches the respect they deserve and not acting in such a way as to bring the good name of Hillsborough JFC into disrepute.
We will pay special attention to parents’ behaviour during the Foyle Cup – both on the touchline and in how parents conduct themselves with the Coaches and Players.
