Foyle Cup Team Selection Policy

This year, in any year group with more than one team going to the Foyle Cup, ALL the managers at that age group will form a team selection committee who will convene at a team selection meeting chaired by Justin and the Executive. The allocation of players to teams will take into consideration what is best for each player, each team and our Club. This will inevitably involve compromises and some players may have different opinions to those reached by the committee. However, we expect every coach, player and parent to respect the decisions of this committee and to manage, play for and support the players and teams chosen by the committee. We do not expect any parent to challenge a manager on any decision as no one manager will have been responsible for the decisions reached. Any parent who does so will be disciplined by the Club. Outstanding Foyle Cup monies should be received by the Treasurer (Sean Walsh) no later than Friday 30 June. Team selections will be announced on Monday 3rd July. Thank you The Executive
